Never Married, Totally Thriving: A Blog for Single Women Over 50
Welcome to a space that’s long overdue – a blog celebrating the fabulous life of being single at 50+! As a 50+ woman who never made it down the aisle (plot twist: that’s totally okay), I’m here to reclaim the narrative around unmarried women and show that “Old Maid” status is actually pretty sweet.
Society still loves to give us that tilted-head look of concern when they learn we’re single at this age. But, despite well-meaning friends and family assuring us there’s still hope, we’re not sitting around waiting for Prince Charming. We’re out here living our best lives, killing our own spiders, and making whole lasagnas for one.
This blog aims to fill a conspicuous gap in the media landscape. While there’s plenty of content for 50+ women about parenting and grandparenting, where’s the space for those of us who took a different path? Let’s normalize not doing the normal stuff!

As a woman who never married, I finally decided to own it. Social media led me to realize I wasn’t alone out here and I noticed there was a gap in information geared toward the growing number of single women over fifty.
